To Be Wise

S: Romans 1:22 Professing to be wise, they became fools. (NKJV)
O: Paul points out when we become glorified in ourselves, we show how foolish we really are. Our ego/pride and selfishness is a major stumbling block in receiving Gods wisdom in our lives.
A: I need to be humble in all I do. I need to be grounded onto my base which is the foundation of Jesus Christ. Always remembering,  without Him, I am nothing.
P: Lord, I pray for a heart of humility and grace. Help me to remember that all glory and honor comes from You and should be to You. I pray for a heart that serves no matter who I am with. Let me always have a humble heart, that Your wisdom will shine in me by my actions and words. I pray this through Your Son Jesus. Amen

REFLECTION: Think of times you were wise, yet felt humble.  Now think of times when you were wise and not humble, which made you feel better?
